Judy Field won international renown with her extraordinarily
exact and exquisitely drawn architectural and animal portraits.
Both in the United States and Europe she has been commissioned to
reproduce with her special skills the likeness of personality of
pets and buildings for posterity.
One of her biggest honors came in 1997, when the Sweeney Art Gallery
at the University of California, Riverside placed 175 of her drawings
and prints in it permanent collection. In the late 1980's, Field
was commissioned by Sir Lorrie Barratt to illustrate Elmer's Court
in South Hampton, England.
Obtaining a portrait of your pet from Judy Field will
ensure that its living image will always be there to warm your heart.
It also makes a gift that will delight the recipient. You may even
choose to have your pet drawn in front of your home.
A native of Riverside, CA. Field graduated from the
University of California, Riverside in 1958, with a BA in Art History.
She began drawing in pen and ink during the 1960's, while raising
her two sons. She recently moved to Idyllwild, CA with her husband
James Baker after spending nine years living and working in the
San Juan Islands, where they had an alpaca farm.
